Hi Scotty, our Jeep Cherokee has been flawless up until about 6 months ago. Just normal driving around 55 mph the Jeep would start jerking a little back and forth like it was downshifting hard then shifting back into normal driving. It doesn’t act up every time we drive to town, sometimes it’ll be a month or two between hiccups. It throws no codes or a check engine light. We took it to the dealership and they couldn’t duplicate it. It has 142K miles on it and otherwise runs perfectly. I’ve researched it online but don’t come up with any answers. Can ya help?

It's probably the transmission failing. Has the fluid + filter ever been changed?
Or the torque converter.
TC is part of the transmission. Either way, it's a pull the tranny out kind of job.
Take the car to a transmission pro to find out the exact issue.
