My mom has a 2014 subaru outback with 108k miles and recently it began to squeak occasionally. It sometimes gets more frequent when driving down the road, but not always. What could the noise be?

So many things in a vehicle can make that squeak..
Start simple, take out everything in the car with which it didn’t come with from the factory, things like child seats, aftermarket accessories, coins, etc.
