Hi Scotty,
-Toyota Corolla, Automatic
- 140k miles
- OBDII CODE P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire detected.
I changed out the spark plugs and swapped the order of the ignition coils and then tried to clear the code. When I rescanned, the P0302 code was still there and said permanent. Do I need to drive the vehicle a while for it to possibly go away or did changing the spark plugs not fix the issue?
Any ideas what I should be looking for to solve the problem?
Thanks for the help,
Jesse

Evidently, it’s not your plugs or coils. It’s something to do with your #2 cylinder. The issue hasn’t gone away.
