I have a 2014 toyota sienna LE with 198k miles. When i turn on the AC i hear a loud humming sound. The AC still puts out ice cold air despite the loud humming. My van also vibrates above 65mph with the AC on. What could the problem be? I am guessing it's my compressor going bad. This only started when I moved to las vegas in June of this year. Thank you
You got it that you're compressor starting to go bad. If you're planning on keeping the car, I would change the compressor now because that's all you'd have to change is the compressor. But if it blows and throws crap through the system then it gets super expensive. You got to replace all kinds of parts and flush the system out
