My 2015 Honda Accord, cvt with 88,500 miles on it is running really rough in gear (drive or reverse). It keeps running rough the first couple of seconds of taking off, but then it’s ok. When it’s in P or N, it’s nice and quiet. Also, it has been recently in a crash on the front passenger side. I had to replace the passenger axle. Can you help me with where to start diagnosing? Thanks in advance
no, not that I know of. It was mostly suspension parts. No other signs of anything wrong as well other than the rough idle. I also noticed that it runs a lot rougher than usual in park when it’s cold. After it gets warm, the rough idle is only noticeable in gear.
You mentioned it was in a crash. Reinspect for broken parts and broken motor mounts, subframe bushings etc
