2015 Honda CR-V, 50,000 miles, automatic. When I turn on my recirculating air button, my air volume doesn't increase like almost every other car I've ever owned did. The AC in my CR-V and other Honda's I've owned take a while to cool your body and the fans are kind of weak but, I expect to feel the volume kick up when I hit the recirculating air button. Every other car I've owned make a kicked up volume sound and, actually did increase the volume of air coming from the vents. Does the same with the heat in the Winter. Is there something wrong with my system? I replaced the fan motor recently due to a damn squeak but, prior to that the same thing happened with the original fan motor. I can use all that cool air I can get in the Summer. Honda's fan/air volume is weak enough already! Thanks!
Mine doesn't blow harder, but it sounds different (which makes sense because fan noise is directed inside instead of outside).
Thank you for your reply. I don't think mine even sounds different.
maybe recirc door on yours isn't opening. Might have to do some digging.
Thanks. I'll ask next time I'm at the dealer. I'll look around in the meantime. I figure the system is working because my windows fog up when I use it here in the Winter and, that's a byproduct of using the recirculating mode.
