Hello, I recently purchased a 2015 2.7 ecoboost. It has a rattle coming from what I assume is the wastegate on both turbos and while it is warming up from a cold start it starts to smoke from the exhaust. The smoke is white in color and goes away once the engine reaches it's operating temperature. I tried to have the Ford dealership take a look at it but they said it was normal and nothing to worry about. The vehicle has 115,000 miles on it.

Noise under hood and white smoke could be related or could be separate issues. For the white smoke, you might want to see if your head gasket is blown, which would let coolant into your engine. I’ve borrowed the head gasket block leak tester for free from Auto Zone before. I only had to buy the block leak test chemical. Other auto parts stores probably borrow this test kit too.
