We own a 2015 Kia Soul with the base engine that has 92,000 miles. The car runs great except while at a stop light in drive with the foot on the break the RPMS seem to drop just enough to cause a vibration which is fine but annoying, in park this does not happen. Living in the city with all the traffic lights we have I would like to remedy the problem, any ideas what it could be?? We purchased the car in 2018 used from a Kia dealership and didn't notice it then, so it could have started sometime between then and now, either way it does happen and its consistent.

I do not remember which Scotty video it was from (there are so many), but since you mentioned living in the city one simple thing is to drive it on the highway for an extended period of time (100-200 miles), especially if you do short distances. You get a normal operating temperature, steady speed and good airflow, it might help your engine clean up a little. My point is, before you start to repair, get your wife, kids or teddy bear and go on a nice trip. Worst case scenario you only come back with souvenirs.
