Should I buy a 2015 Lexus ES350 which is made in Japan or is it ok to buy a newer model which is made here in the US? My concern is whether there is a difference in quality/workmanship between the two?

Haven’t heard any major differences in quality between the US made or the Japanese made Lexus vehicles. I’d still probably go with the 2015 though.

There aren't really that many problems with the US made ones like other manufacturers have which is a good sign for Lexus and other factors are more important imo.
But this is short term. There isn't recalls spreading on the news about us made Lexus products like there are with Hyundai and Kia, but we still don't know long term, though considering Lexus, you should be just fine with either.
