What happened to my old photographer in Houston his failed too but unfortunately his failed because someone changed the fluid incorrectly and it messed it all up over time

I'm in the process of trading my 2016 VW Passat with 97,000 miles for a 2017 Camry with 12,000 miles. Should this give me second thoughts?
