Should I buy this Tacoma

Scotty I'm interested in buying a 2015 Toyota Tacoma with 65.000 miles. SR 2.7 engine with a automatic transmission. Do you think it is safe to change out the automatic transmission fluid? Also is there anything I  should be aware of to look for mechanically outside of the norm? {black}:idontknow:

Yes, it is a good idea to change it (drain and fill) with WS fluid. Have a mechanic check the car before buying.

As far as mechanically outside the norm, there is nothing particular that stands out.  2015 is the last year of that 2nd generation (model years 2005-2015) so by then earlier issues in the Gen would have been ironed out.  The top issues for that year that some owners reported were excessive windshield noise, brakes not engaging, and excessive squeaking from suspension.

Be sure to have an independent, honest mechanic thoroughly look over the car and road test it with his high level scan tool hooked up (evaluating all the data) and gives his OK before you buy.

Have it inspected thoroughly by a professional mechanic, before purchase.

And yes, go ahead & change the ATF at that mileage (if you buy it).
