2016 Chevrolet Camaro, car started shaking and it got to a point on the second day where it shook so violently that the car stalled. I turned the car off and started it back up and drove it home. On the way home the car started to loose power and it wouldn’t go the RPMs would just go up as if the car was in neutral. I got it home left it sitting over night and then I tried to move it the next morning and the car wouldn’t go backwards or forwards anymore. Now the car starts up and it just revs but I don’t have any go on either drive or reverse. This car isn’t driven violently as many have already assumed, it’s my wives  daily driver car and is only used as a commuter vehicle. I have never encountered a problem like this before but the reason I’m asking you and not just taking it straight to a transmission replace shop is because I find it highly suspect that the transmission would fail over night. Unless maybe I’m wrong and this is usual.

It can and does happen. (I've seen it happen myself.) A transmission is not amenable to diagnosis and repair by most car owners, it needs to be checked out by a professional with a high-end bidirectional scan tool. If you're lucky it may be some kind of electrical problem.
