Hi, Scotty. My best friend since birth bought a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4X4 with around 70k miles on it. His driver's side front brake caliper keeps locking up or dragging of you will. He has taken it to the dealership a few times and a reputable shop another time, and they keep replacing it, but the problem just comes right back, ABS light, traction control light, and I think it's a tow warning as well. No one can figure out out. I think it is in his ABS Modulating Valve Solenoid assembly, but the dealership swears that it can't be. I had the same problem with a Land Rover Discovery 2 that I had owned a few years before, and that was the issue. What can be going on, and what should he do?
If the ABS light comes on, it should have stored code(s). Have a good mechanic scan it and go from there.
might be a collapsed brake hose
