I’m looking for a used 10th gen civic. There is a 2016 Civic EX-T trim with 88,000kms for $12,000 but it has a accident title. I’m also looking at a 2019 Civic EX trim with 33,000kms for $14,000 this car has been in a front end accident but no frame or engine damage on both vehicles. Should I go for the cheaper option or go for the newer civic or should I leave both options and look at another civic.
I would look at something else. An accident title on a vehicle is not the best option even if the damage wasn't severe and the car was safe to drive.
I would skip both. 2016 Civic with the 1.5T had problems and the 2019 model u mentioned had been in a front-end accident and it's not worth gambling.
Look for another Civic. If ur going 2016-2018, stick to the 2.0 4 cylinder or if ur going 2019, both engines are fine.
