Hey Scotty Looking at a 2016 Lexus Gs200t as a first car, it comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. As a first time car owner should I be worried about reliability for a turbocharged car or am I good since its a Lexus? Thank you and God bless.
Seems very modern for a first car. Good cars Lexus always made good turbos when it comes to reliability but for a first car most people would recommend a lower end car like a Corolla, but if you can afford that then go ahead. Always remember to have a mechanic check it out before purchase as a pre-purchase inspection.
Thanks for the information! And yeah I've seen some around the price range of 20k-26k with a few miles so if its a good buy for the long run I don't see why it wouldn't be worth it.
I would stick to the GS 350 RWD. More horse power. The difference in the gas mileage is not that much. The longevity of normal aspirated engines are more than turbo engines and the cost of repair is less.
