Hello scotty and crew I have a 2016 ram rebel with 90 000km now off of warranty up here in Northern Ab . The truck has electronic power steering I have been getting service power steering indicator light on my dash along with strong arm steering .I changed the fuses that are on top the positive battery post related to the eps it went away for a few trips. I have also tried your method of disconnecting the battery to allow computer to reset which also has helped it go away and function properly but it only lasts maybe 2 start ups than I have to disconnect battery again .Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm hoping to not have to replace the entire rack and pinion for 3k Cad considering it works perfectly fine when the light goes away. There was a recall on some of the 2015-2016 years. Call the dealer to see if you are included. If not, based on the symptoms, the issue has electronic nature, you need a food scan tool to check the codes.
