can't do much of anything to fix it. Replacement of the part is pretty much necessary to get the feature to work again if you care for it. Unless it be permanently stuck in an unusable position I would suggest to just live with it as in my mind seeing that a used eBay computer is 80 bucks, I would not want to see the price for the OEM or OEM+ price if you can even find em.

It's a cool feature in theory, and when it's working. When it goes wrong, it's not inexpensive to fix, especially being a Volvo.
