Hey Scotty and team!   I wanted to know if the Honda CRV engine issue regarding the oil dilution has been resolved?  I am saving up cash to buy a slightly used model, but hesitant about the CRV with all the posts about the engine issue.  What are your thoughts?  I would go with the RAV 4, but I like the FULL SPEED dynamic cruise control that is on the CRVs.  If Toyota had this, I would probably just go with the RAV4.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME and RESPONSES!

Is it the 1.5 turbo engine? Because those are the ones with the oil dilution, and most likely they are still covered under Honda's warranty.

Also, Scotty has a video with full details about it

If you really like the 2017-2018 Honda CRV, get the LX trim that has the 2.4L N/A engine, this has been a proven reliable engine that has been around for a long time, and also there aren't any known issues with that engine in that vehicle.

I just test drove CR-V 2019 (new).  It was amazing. Lots of features. 2.4l engine is amazing. Still have to research about transmission. Most probably going for this rather RAV4.
