2017 Honda Ridgeline - ya or na?

Topic starter

Hi Scotty!

First time writer here! I bought a 2017 Honda Ridgeline AWD RTL-T with 65,000 miles on it in 2020 with the hopes of being able to keep it until 200,000 miles easy! So far Ive been on top of the maintenance with the dealer (have done all work at my honda dealer who I trust) and have had no issues and I love my "truck"!  My question is if you think its worth putting in the money for the very expensive ($1200) valve adjustment thats supposedly required for all Honda's? I just did the timing belt replacement at 101,000 miles (why the heck is there timing belts in a 6 cyl but timing chains in my wife's HRV 4cyl???). Are the 6cyl Honda engines susceptible to the issues you talked about with the CRV engines from a previous youtube video?  You think I could get 200,000 miles out of my 2017 Ridgeline without any major repairs or should I cut my losses and sell it now?  Thanks for your time!
