2017 Jetta battery issue

This week my car developed low battery symptoms (ignition click, slow start, etc.).  When I took it to get the battery checked, it read about 10.5 volts.  I noticed a low and consistent sound lower in the block, around the alternator and fans.  The sound seems like it's electrical, and is accompanied with a second hissing-type noise, also in the same area (maybe higher up in the engine). The sound went away when I reconnected the battery after the test.  I've been checking for the sound each time I turn the car off, and it's been inconsistently there.

Any suggestions how to test or what may be the issue?

First, replace your battery.

In general, diagnosing electronics on a Volkswagen is not something you can DIY and that’s something many electricians will refuse to do.

I’d recommend going to a skilled professional electrician who has experience with VW group products.

LMAO that's not what I was hoping to hear.  That means a big 'bend-me-over' visit to the VW service dept. {black}:deceitful: {black}:deceitful: {black}:deceitful:
