2017 Toyota Corolla iM, Keep or Sell?

Scotty,

I have a 2017 Toyota Corolla iM with 54,000 mi and the CVT transmission (MADE IN JAPAN).  Even though I've had no problems, I had the recall (non recall) software update done when it came out.  I still have no symptoms but understand this is a potential longer-term problem. The car has been great. Should I keep it or get rid of it because the potential future problems with the transmission?

What will you replace it with, if you decide to sell it? How much will you have to pay for another vehicle?

You got the European Toyota Auris with the best possible engine.

Keep it, seriously under rated car. Much more practical than the Corolla hatch, but has the same powertrain.

Nah, I'd keep it. Those things can run forever. You take care of them. They generally last a really long time
