2018 equinox premier AWD alignment?

I have a 2018 chevrolet equinox premier AWD with 67,000 miles, it’s in immaculate shape. The dealer told me I need a new flex pipe but there’s no codes and no symptoms of a bad one. I hear a creaking/clicking noise when I come to a stop or steering at low speeds. It has a humming noise driving. the steering wheel is slightly crooked when driving straight. does it need an alignment and wheel bearings? and is the flex pipe a scam?

Well look at the flex pipe. If it makes a cracking noise, it's breaking and it would need replacing, but you really don't need to replace them until they actually leak and make noise. As for the rest, of course don't have to see it in person to see if there's something wrong with the wheel bearings or anything. But any good mechanic jacket it up and show you what parts are worn?

I have a reputable mechanic that can look at it. The flex pipe makes no noise, no codes or abnormal data. I’ve heard a tapping noise after shut off before, but no bad smells or noises otherwise. It will need new tires for the 19” rims, but i think the alignment should wait until i get new tires and wheels balanced.
