2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid starting problem

2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid has no power anywhere when I get in to start the car. No headlights, nothing. After repeated attempts to start the car (push button including open and closing the door too) the dash lights eventually will come on and the car will start. FOBs all have new batteries. Checked batteries and all are okay. Thought it might be a relay. However, if I drive it for 20 minutes and stop to go to get gas it is like it never happened. Drives fine, no problems. Thoughts?

The most common problem that does that is the bad small 12-volt battery. Hybrids have a big battery and a small battery. A small one going bad often does that. If not that it could be a loose connection somewhere on the battery or even a bad ignition switch

@scottykilmer Thank you for your response. I helped my dad pull transmissions and engines since I was 12 years old and I do almost all my own repairs. Just too many unethical service managers and mechanics..including two guys I went to high school with who would brag about ripping people off. Saved my wife's son from spending 3k on a so called repair when all he needed was to get a new gas cap!! I have lots of horror stories. Put my meter on the battery, it is fine, placed it under load it is fine. I thought about the switch but it working with no problem after driving discounts that I believe. back to the car. The car has no power, turn on the head lights, no: brake lights work? No (checked battery , is fine) After several attempts (sometimes only once) hold the ignition button for a few seconds the "P" with light up on the transmission dial. Hold the ignition button again for several seconds (may happen after a couple times or may take many, many attempts) it will start. Given that, why is there no power to the car at all??? no lights, etc????? but okay after driving?
