2018 rav4 that I want to change the transmission fluid on. 50,000 miles so i know I am probably early on this preventative maintenance. Do i have to go through the whole process of getting the transmission fluid to the correct temp to make sure i am at the correct level? Or, if i know exactly how much fluid I drain when the transmission is cold and just replace that volume of fluid am i ok? Just want to know if the whole Toyota process of transmission fluid is necessary.
