Hi Scott,
Hope this finds you well.
I drive a 2019 Honda Civic Touring, 1.5L turbo at 198000km, CVT transmission.
My car has been leaking engine coolant for about 2 months now. All the warning lights flash. Car shakes a lot upon start (sometimes).
I took it to a Honda dealership the first time the lights started flashing. They replaced the spark plugs because it gave a misfire code. After replacing the spark plugs everything was good for about 3 weeks. Then again all the warning lights started flashing and the car started to shake on starting up.
I took it to the dealership again. They said that the leak could be an internal one for which they need to take out the engine to inspect. It would cost around $4500 just for this inspection.
I cannot afford to spend so much money right now that's why I am seeking your help regarding this issue. Any sort of help would be highly appreciated.

UV dye and/or a pressure test can be used to find the source of a coolant leak. If head gasket is suspected that can also be tested.
The symptoms you are experiencing indicate problems beyond a simple coolant leak. If the car is out of warranty you might want to take it to a good independent mechanic for diagnosis - dealers are always the most expensive and not necessarily the most competent choice.

an "inspection" is almost the price of a new engine? Baloney. They just don't want to do it. Stop going to the stealership and find a good independent mechanic who knows what he's doing.
