I recently bought a used one owner 2019 tuscon with the 2.0 it has 82k on it and runs drives great but I've heard about the class action lawsuit on the engines my car was built in Feb of 2019 . Two questions with my build date and the fact it has 82k do you think I'm the lucky one and not have to worry about the engine letting go prematurely. 2nd is there anything I can do to keep it together thanks David
Late model Hyundai vehicles in general have had a lot of problems with catastrophic engine and drivetrain failure, as well as fires. However it is not possible to foretell what is going to happen with an individual vehicle. About all you can do to try to keep that vehicle going as long as possible is to baby it.
