Hey Scott I've got a 2019 Subaru ascent. I've noticed that my front 2 tires which were only were on the outer side and were cracking apart. What may have been the reason? I'm also curious about the tranny, I don't know how long it will last.

For tire wear, the first thing you want to check is the suspension - if anything’s broken then tires will wear unevenly. But, it’s only 2 years old so I doubt anything is worn out. Try taking the car to a good front end shop to make sure the tires are properly balanced and the alignment is on point.
For the transmission, is it having issues or are you just wondering how long it will last? On the Subaru CVTs, doing a drain and fill on the transmission fluid every 50K miles is a good idea.
