I'm trying to be proactive with my 2019 Toyota Camry. 5,000 mi.
The maintenance schedule for the 2019 Toyota Camry specifies "Add Toyota EFI Tank Additive or equivalent" every 5K miles. What is that? I can't seem to find a source, even on the Toyota parts site which says it's unavailable. Do I need it in the continental US since it specifies: "for Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa only"? Is it only available in those locations? Or only required in those locations?
Does Techron work just as well?
I noticed that the Toyota dealer doesn't add it in the "Toyota Care" service.

You do not need ANY additives. Put gas in and drive.
