Hi Scotty!
Background:
I recently sold my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara JL to the dealership (they made an offer I couldn’t refuse **LOL**).
One of the many things I enjoyed about the Wrangler was the high driving position (hubby says I must have been a bus driver in a previous life).
Now, I am in the market for another vehicle but in no rush as we have a work van I can use when needed. So far, I have test driven the Toyota RAV4, Toyota Highlander, and Honda CR-V (1.5 L 4 cylinder Turbo… I think one can only get a 2.0 L Turbo in the CR-V hybrid). The RAV4 did not fit me – when I adjusted my seat I was too close to the visor and I did not have much head room. The Highlander was better visor and head room wise but I felt like I still sat a bit low and it was a little hard to see over the hood. The CR-V had a tad more headroom than the RAV4 and it handled like a small sedan/go kart.
While I would prefer better gas mileage, I wondered if I would feel secure in the CR-V on the Interstate (I only test drove on back roads), if I would eventually feel like the front part of the cabin was too small, and if the Turbo engine would be problematic.
I saw a Honda Pilot parked by a Toyota Highlander at a dealership. The Pilot’s front end looked a tad wider but shorter than the Highlander. When I sat in the Pilot, I felt like I could see a bit better over the hood.
Then I started wondering if there was something in-between the Honda’s compact and mid-size SUV and came across the Honda Passport.
Question: What do you think of the 2020 and 2021 Honda Passport? I looked through your videos but did not see one for it (I hope I didn’t miss it).
Thank you in advance for your time! I really enjoy your videos – they are very educational and entertaining!
They are really well made vehicles if you don't mind the price and the fact that they are relative gas hogs. I don't have to say all my customers are bottom we're all pretty much happy
