I am looking at getting a 2020 corolla hatch with a 6 speed manual transmission. It would be my first manual car that I would own but I have experience driving manual cars and motorcycles.
What I want to know is it worth buying for $18k with 20k miles on it? I do my own oil changes and brakes so I don't think the car is going to need more than that wiith 70k miles on it.
What's the public's opinion?
Well they are very good cars price. Well that's always negotiable. And with the manual transmission it should basically last forever
@scottykilmer I have also found a 2020 VW Golf TSI with a manual 40k miles, same price as the Corolla $18k just the Toyota has more miles with 70k and the VW Golf has 40k.
I'm not a speed demon by any means and I have a basic understanding of how to work on cars thanks to your videos. Would it be even worth it to go with a VW with 4ok miles even if I do my own oil changes and brakes?

Scotty does not generally revisit topics he has already answered. If you value your wallet stick with the Corolla.
