Hi Scotty, I've been a loyal viewer for 10 years and love your channel! I have a 2020 Lexus GX460 with 3,800 miles that I purchased new. It was manufactured in 03/2020 when the Tahara plant had shut down due to COVID. At approximately 1,250 miles, the transmission/driveline would clunk during low-speed maneuvers and when shifting from reverse to drive. The dealership replaced the driveshaft under a Technical Service Bulletin. I'm now noticing rough shifting between 10-50 mph in stop and go highway driving. The transmission will downshift abruptly causing a jolt or hunt for a lower gear. The dealer put 11 miles on the car, reported that everything was within spec and that shifting as rough as I described would have tripped an error code with the computer. The transmission still shifts rough in stop and go traffic. I've also noticed small paint defects over various parts of the body. Did I get what you once called a "COVID car"? Thank you!
Sure sounds like that but get your phone make a video of it shifting poorly show it to him say it's not working right and you want it fixed. If necessary contact actual Japanese not the scumbags at the dealers because the deal is are just American selling stuff and they don't give one rats ass about anything except making money
