Hello Scotty,
My wife wants tom purchase a loaded 2020 Subaru Ascent Premium 4 cylinder Turbo with 24,000 miles from CARMAX for $38,000.
We are both retired and will probably be driving about 8000 miles per year.
1. Is this Subaru a good car?
2. Is $38,000 a good price ?

The CVT and 4 cylinder turbo engine is the dealbreaker on those, especially being a big and heavier car than the other Subarus (which translates to more strain/stress on the engine and transmission over time). I would pass on it.
