Should new vehicle buyers rely on Consumer Reports

In your opinion, how reliable are Consumer Reports published reviews for new vehicles?  Consumer Reports does not buy and test new vehicles.  They rely on “predicted reliability” of buyers. Should new vehicle buyers rely on crystal ball testing?

I would not trust any information put out by Consumer Reports, JD Power or any other source like them.

Simple answer: Nope.

No, a simple search function like MMJ mentioned will reveal the answer to your question.  Essentially take Consumer Reports and these other surveys with a grain of salt.  Listen to Scotty and trusted mechanics like Car Wizard - they will tell you which vehicles to watch out for.  Also, do your own research and determine your level of risk you are willing to take.
