Should I buy an extended warranty

2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab Pick Up Truck with 5.3 Liter Engine

Hi Scotty,

My basic 3 year warranty just expired a couple of weeks ago on my truck. Unfortunately I had one of the engines that was built with bad valve lifter springs between Sept 2020 and March 2021. I had to get the valve lifter springs on both banks of the engine replaced at 9000 miles in Dec 2022 under warranty. GM gave me an additional 100k and 5 year warranty for this work. Do you think I should buy an extended warranty on this truck?
