- I know you have made several comments about the Nissan company, especially their Jaco transmissions. Would a 5 speed manual Nissan Versa be any more reliable than their CVT vehicles? Thanks.
How many years and miles do you need the vehicle to last you?
I guess at least 200,000 miles would be my answer. I would consider a corolla or civic obviously. I'm just curious if the CVT is the only weakness of the Nissan Versas.

It would be more reliable than the CVT but even still you can do better.

I honestly think their versa's are cheap enough cars and can probably last up to 150k miles. I suggest you go for it because they are cheap and easy to maintain and somewhat reliable being that they are so simple, but don't expect any resale value in a couple of years.
