Would u recommend me to buy  the new 2021 Nissan Versa S , Manual trany ( stick Shift) . Looking at the price around $16,000 for a new car  i think it would be a good deal.

I’ve been looking for used car here in New York, were i live but i just had found crap, and i don’t want to get ripped off; that why was thinking in this one.

I know u have cover the horrendous CVT crapy Jacko tranis failed before the waranty.

But overall the engine hasn’t had serious recall as far i am concern, correct me if i am wrong, ur the expert.

thanks

How many years and total miles (over that span) do you need it to last you?

hi there thank for the feedback. I want to keep it for ever 😅 if it last that long . kind of thinking longer ownership with this one. but also will wait for Scotty final word.

Stay away from Nissan.  Go with the Honda Fit.  It's about the same price range.

thank you Sr. i did reach the dealer but they don't have Manual stick so far, will wait and see how goes..

The Versa is not a bad car, the CVT is what holds it back, otherwise its a decent car

Since Renault bought Nissan twenty years ago, the quality culture went with the sale. Caveat Emptor!

thanks for the feedback🆗✊🏼🗺

RUN FROM IT!

The engine they have in those, we had in Europe for about a decade and it's HORRENDOUS. the Renault H4M is one of the worst ones out there.

You're better of even with a Hyundai product although personally, If I were you, I'd get a Toyota Yaris sedan (under it's skin it's a Mazda2 and those are excellent in every way, and you can get them for just a bit more then a versa - at least where I live).

thank you brother🆗🙏🏻🇸🇻🇺🇸🗺

Scotty says automatic transmissions are garbage. You are looking at a manual. Those are better. One thing less to maintain.

You can also wait some time and see if Scotty answers your question in a video.

yes Sr..😎🆗 thanks u , ur right Manual are better cost effective. will wait for Scotty as well.

Stay away. Find a good used car for that price.  You will be much happier.

i have been trying brootha, but unfortunately here in NYC too much crap rolling down these streets, i have see a bunch of used ones .. and man what a phony , either the price or the condition of the car. that why im considering this Manual Versa, but I will wait for Scotty final work 😅😎✊🏼. thanks for ur advice

The Versa is a decent car with a manual. I prefer it over the Yaris, which I would stay away from. That said, I would also consider a Honda Fit, but if u can get a better price on the versa, go ahead and buy one, take good care of it and it can be pretty good because it's got a dependable and simple 4 cylinder engine with a manual tranny

Since you say you want to keep it forever, then I advise you to look at a different vehicle (Toyota, Honda, even Mazda).

thanks you sr, for the tip, really appreciated

I would also add the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 to the mix. They are low on HP but have been essentially rock solid cars for the 4 years they have been around. (The mirage compact hatch has been around with the same powertrain much longer) I saw one used (2019, 8K miles with a manual and the 3 cylinder) for 9K. Which is a substantial price considering they are decent cars minus the Thai-inspired design.

This car is called the "Space Star" in Europe. If you search for these reviews, you'll find that they cruise the Autobahn in this car. Let go of your prejudice and the world is full of possibilities.

hmmmm,🧐 haven’t thought about the Mirage, i will look stay it. thank you Sr

Manual is better, but they are still cheaper cars. Also, 2016 2017 models go around $5000 with 50.000 miles where I am so isn't it a waste to pay 16 grand for a new one? I wouldn't ever buy a new one. The only new small car I would buy is the Honda Fit which has great resale value and reliability. If you are keen on the Versa, get a cheap used one. You are better off with a used manual transmission Toyota or Honda for that kind of money.

thanks for  the tip brother,  do you know where are this prices, to look around for them, is considerable save of bills, if u could provide me where to find them , will appreciate

I would look on craigslist<by owners and look there. If you want dealer listings, cargurus and autotempest are decent resources but dealers are generally more expensive. Good luck!
