Scotty, has the 2025 honda ridgeline/VCM problem been corrected. Is it really a problem if I have my routine maintenace done? If still a problem, any recommendations on a new truck that will last and doesn't cost a fortune? Thanks, Dan
Unfortunately, all new trucks cost a fortune that's the way it is. It's best to look for a good used one as far as I'm concerned. Now variable cylinder management is a stupid idea and no matter what companies may say it will never work right because it disrupts the thermal management inside the engine. You can't long-term have an engine that has a hot cylinder next to a cold non-firing cylinder next to a hot firing cylinder. It ends up warping the engine over tire. And they can't stop that from happening. I would never buy a VCM car myself
