Hi Scotty,
I need a reliable vehicle to drive 4 times a week to Miami, FL from Port St Lucie, about a 350 plus mile round trip. I've decided on a Toyota, any model, but most of what I'm looking at in my price range has over 200,000 miles. Is that a sane idea, and is there anything I should be looking for or stay away from? Also, to mention I will take a manual transmission.
Thank you,
Rob
I wouldn't. You're doing long cross country trips. Spending a lot on fuel. Get a vehicle that's up to the task.
anything that you buy, even new is a crapshoot.
me, i'd look for a caddy from 1994 to 2005. sedan de ville. fair mpg, comfortable.
you'll be on the vets parkway? or good florida highways, so you can relax and enjoy the ride in a caddy while the other nitwits in thier buzz bombs scurry about.
greetings from Homosassa
