3rd Gen 4Runner Strange Brake Shake

Hello,

I have a 2000 RWD 4Runner Limited. A while ago, I replaced the front disks and pads due to rotor warping. Now, occasionally, when going down my steep driveway, the right front wheel brake causes a massive shaking of the whole vehicle when moderate or higher brake pressure is applied, almost like the brake pads are grabbing and slipping repeatedly. This seems most likely when the brakes are newly wet and does not happen when the vehicle is being driven normally under any circumstances. What's wrong?

Thank you!

Sticky caliper, master cylinder, or rubber brake line deterioration restricting back flow.(rare). If the caliper is sticking it dosen't take long to warp a rotor causing that problem.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to take the wheels off for a rotation later this week so I'll look at the calipers then. Are there any visual cues that I can look for to confirm the calipers are sticking?

The rotor may show bluish or cracks. Break bads may show heat cracks and excessive wear
