Hey guys, I just bought a 2009 Subaru Impreza 1.5 hatchback with 16200 km (about 10 150 miles) on the clock. I am happy to have it and all but I am wondering how I can switch the traction control off. I looked anywhere in the car and I just cannot find the button. (where it should have been was on the left side next to the fuse box but there is just plastic and no button). I was wondering if it maybe did not have any traction control. Can somebody please help me figure out this mystery?
Thank you
Go to your car's manual - the answers are probably there.
On most cars, it cannot be fully turned off - but that's usually the case only with recent models.
I remember on 2nd gen Subbies you had to pull a fuse to go into "analog mode".
Also, as it seems - prepare to replace rear suspension components and get good insurance.
(preferably one that covers not only property/monetary damage, but one that also covers legal expenses)
Note that it was the only non-premium system that actually works.
