55k mile service 2017 Tacoma

Hi Scotty,

I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 AT with 54,200mi, purchased mid Aug 2020 with 49,640mi. My current usage has been short daily commutes with a mix of local & short highway, periodic mid level payload hauling & towing a 6x12 cargo trailer a few times.

I'll be taking my Tacoma in for 55kmi service soon. Other than changing oil & oil filter what else should I be doing & what should I avoid doing either because it's a waste of money or doesn't need to be done this early?  Is there anything that I should have checked since I wasn't the original owner?

You’re still low mileage by Toyota standards.

I’d just follow the guidance provided in your owner’s manual regarding periodic maintenance.

All the best & don’t get tricked into buying their value added services..
