I found an older silverado near me, I talked to the owner for a while, and it sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
The truck ran into a ditch and the body is covered with all kinds of dents and scrapes, but it's only got 102,000 miles on it and 4x4. The whole drivetrain and frame are undamaged. just need to know if this is something worth my time.

could be, would you be using at as a work truck or pull trailers? daily driver or weekend toy? I have had a 03 silverado as a daily driver and it required more maintenance than what I wanted,,, would have been great as a weekend toy but thats just me.
If the motor and trans are in good shape it could be a good ride. I wouldn't pay that much for almost a 15 year old car, maybe offer 5k cash and see what they say.

Im not sure about reliability or pricing, but my uncle had one and loved it!
It depends on the condition but always make a lower offer, the problem will be the tranny, there were 2 options 4L60e or 4L80e. the 4L60 is weak on a 4x4. If the motor is the 6.0 you have the better 4L80.
