Hi,
A technician suggested that this may work for my brother, but I've always been wary of products like this. Anyone have experience with this product and does it work?
Thanks,
Jimmy
Sledgehammer actually does make very good chemical products I've used them in the past give it a try but realize cleaner doesn't always work on a catalytic converter as they get extremely hot and often things like burnt oil get baked on and will never come off
@scottykilmer
Sounds like we have to replace the catalytic converters, per the dealer for 4000k plus. so I suggested possibly aftermarket ones .. is it worth buying these from ebay? I know you state electronics like MAF sensors should be bought OEM? I think it is just a waste of money for the cleaner, the F150 pick up has 300k miles on it..
Love your show Scotty and watch all your videos when they come out. Thank you !
@JimmyIron
Scotty recommends the Monroe aftermarket cats. He just mentioned it in today’s video - https://youtu.be/83iFekUTKTg watch from the 8:30 mark

We are going to try Sledgehammer cleaner first and if it works great.! If not we will move ahead wit replacing with the Monroe Cats... thank you so much Scotty!!!
