Hello scotty I am looking for a really nice 6 cylinder coupe for my 2nd car I'm currently caught up on the 4th gen mitsubishi eclipse GT and the 2013 and lower Honda accordcoupe, what's your experience/recommendation on these vehicles and anything I should look else into-kevin

You would have a better chance of finding parts for the honda

@the-nwo
I would 100% get a Mitsubishi they never let down to fail they are very reliable and as long as you get one made in Japan you will not regret your purchase

@the-nwo
I don't know if you have looked at them, but the Hyundai Genesis Coupe V6 is pretty good if you can find one at the right price with 6 speed Zf transmission.

@the-nwo
The 8th gen Accord Coupe is great with the V6 and 6 speed, if you enjoy manual. The auto has cylinder deactivation and is known to burn oil.
If you can find a 9th for a good deal they're far more refined on the inside, little more power and lighter. Ether would last you as long as you take care of them.

Get a 1995 honda accord ex-r coupe 5 speed and never look back. Or get a 2001 Honda Prelude Type SH.

I'd buy a Honda.  I have owned 3 eclipses, all manual transmissions: a 97 RS (still have it, over 200k miles and still runs), a 2000 GT ( started smoking around 180k and the steering system was shot), and a 2007 GS (poor gas mileage, transmission started whining in 3rd gear around 120k).  The older ones were great, but the later ones the quality started going downhill, from my experience anyway.  I take good care of my vehicles, don't drive crazy (used them for commuting, no burnouts or racing), and the 2000 and 2007 should have lasted longer without the problems that occurred.

I was a solid mitsubishi fan but experienced the slow decline of reliability....though to be honest I probably would have bought another if they had came out with another actual 5G eclipse instead of that SUV looking thing.  Glad they didn't or I'd probably be spending alot in repair bills.
