Hey Scotty and everyone,
I just gotten a 93 Camaro Z28.
It initially start up fine and reversed off the trailer fine. However, when I got into the car and drove one loop my place, shook when I hit the brakes and the car shook from time to time in idle. Rpm surged to almost 2,000 from time to time.
And died when I shifted to reverse.
I started the car again with the help of stepping on the accelerator, tried reversing again by stepping on the accelerator, I heard two pops from the exhaust. The car died again after I lifted my foot off the accelerator.
What should I look to have it fixed? Should I still drive it to a shop or should I have it towed there?
I know this is a long post but any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
Ed
Well I'd advise towing it there there are many things that could be going wrong on an old car like that could be a fuel problem ignition problem a transmission problem a torque converter problem could be lots of things I wouldn't chance driving it
Thanks Scotty!
