- Hi Scotty, my son inherited his great grandmother's 93 Ford escort. She bought it new 93. It only has about 65,000 miles on it. He will be taking it when he leaves for college next fall and drives it around now. It is an automatic transmission I'm sure the fluid has never been changed. Would it be advisable to change it out or let it be? Thank you
- The odometer in the same car doesn't work right. It registers a mile every 500 feet or so, is this something that is fixable by my son and I? Like easily? Or forget about it?

It is an automatic transmission I'm sure the fluid has never been changed. Would it be advisable to change it out or let it be?
