'95 Accord 5MT clutch noises

Hi guys and gals!

I need help diagnosing/confirming diagnosis for my '95 Accord 5MT with 106k km.

Engine running, pushing down clutch pedal, groaning sound appears. Neutral through all the gears. Starts when lightly tapping until fully depressed, just gets louder.

Throwout bearing?

Also, there's a noise that's sounds like a slipping belt, worst at 1,5 to 2k rpm. Not constant, sometimes it's bad, sometimes I can't get it to make the noise (usually when I have my phone ready to record). It seems worse when it's colder out. Noise stops (I think completely, can't really tell over the other noise) when pushing clutch pedal.

Input shaft bearing?

Why would this be a problem at sich Low km? PO rode it only in city and had his foot always on the pedal?

Your best bet would probably be to get a clutch kit and replace the clutch.

Not really an option for me. Shipping costs are too expensive for guesswork.

How much does your local auto parts store/mechanic quote for a full clutch job?

Don't have any numbers for this. The shipping for a clutch kit alone is between $150-400 depending on if it's per plane or ship, because of the weight. Other than the noise, the clutch works very well.

If that is the case I would just live with the noise.

If it makes noise when depressing the clutch pedal, it is absolutely the throwout bearing.
