Hey Scotty. I hope you can help me. I recently bought a 96 mustang 3.8 from a coworker and it’s spitting out a whole bunch of codes. P0136 p0156 p1131 p0302 and p0301. Do you have any suggestions where to start?

Doesn't sound like it was maintained well. You have two 02 sensor faults and two misfires.
I would:
1. Change the spark plugs
2. Clean the throttle body and MAF sensor
3. Replace the 02 sensors with OEM
4. Check all the fluids...odds are they need changing
Well if I would have want to change out all parts I would have just done it without posting that question. Btw I cleared the codes and the ones coming back are misfire no2 and lean. Spark plugs are new
If you have a problem, and you know a certain part is causing at least some of the issue, then it stands to reason you have to change the part in question. Otherwise nothing changes. If the spark plugs are new, are you sure they are correctly gapped? If you only have one misfire showing, try moving the ignition coil to another cylinder and see what happens. If the misfire follows the coil, you know you need to replace it. If it stays, you know you have a physical issue with cylinder 2 at which time you would want to boroscope it to see what the cylinder walls/physical components look like.
Spark plugs come pre-gapped nowadays... did all of that already don’t think it’s physical damage bc got good compression
Pre-gapped plugs can still be off. I see that all the time even on NGK Iridium plugs. Always check to verify. If you've done all that, I would take it to an independent mechanic and have them check it out. It is hard to say what it could be at this point and you don't want to guess by throwing parts at it.
