Back in the later stages of winter I had some pulley noises and assumed it was the alternator as my voltage was reading out very low. Replaced it, new one was a dud. Reinstalled the old one but learned pulley noise was compressor pulley. All is fixed and done but my voltage is still very low. Getting 12.7v with lights and all accessories on while driving. When I come to a stop, goes down to 11.8 with signal on. Bad voltage regulator? Alternator is the original one the car came with.
(When she is cold the volts, without accessories, is normal. 13.7 to 15.1)

New is not the same as known good. Test the alternator.
