My battery from day one will drop to 11.9 volts overnight. Dealer says that is normal but I believe anything below 1/2 charge will damage the battery. I already replaced the big battery that went dead multiple times while towing it behind a motorhome. Checked for parasitic draw and it was drawing .5 amps. Any ideas why it drops so much overnight. Still will start fine.

The dealer is scumbag and a bald face liar. I would have grabbed a few of the mechanics from the shop, and called this guy out and ridiculed him in front of all the customers in his dealership.

11.9 isn't catastrophic your battery will be fine.

half an amp is too much.
Any ideas why it drops so much overnight.
what aftermarket accessories do you have in the car?

Thanks for all those replies. No aftermarket other than equipment except for the tow brace and the light package for turns signals, stopping and running lights. None of that would be active when the car isn't hooked up. I did add a trickle charger that has a diode to charge the battery when towing with power coming from the motorhome. Didn't seem to help. I watched the parasitic draw video which was very helpful and will run it again and do it Eric's way.
unplug all that stuff and remove any modifications you made. Return the car to it's factory state.
